Singer, songwriter and producer Danny Davis is no stranger to the performing arts. A native of Canton, Ohio, Danny grew up in a family of entertainers. Influenced musically by his mother, he began playing drums as a youngster in church. At age 14, he began playing keyboards and soon after started singing in a local R&B band.
Danny discovered the art of recording while sitting in on recording sessions in a Cleveland, Ohio, studio owned by superstar producer Edwin “Tony” Nicholas, best-known for producing platinum-selling recording artists such as the late Gerald Levert, Brian McKnight, Joe, Men at Large, The Rude Boys and the legendary O’Jays. Eventually, he joined the production company Black Pearl Entertainment, and began writing and producing. Danny appeared in the Henry Fernandez stage play, Lost in Translation.
In 2007 Danny moved to Sunrise, Florida. He and his wife, Erika, are ordained ministers and, along with their children, are members of The Faith Center Ministries in Sunrise.
