Edison (Eddie) R.D. Browne, a native of St. Maarten was born on February 6th 1983. Both parents have some sort of a musical back ground. Eddie started singing at the age of 4 at the island’s local daycare at his graduation ceremony into kindergarten. From that point on he has been singing just about every chance he got.
A several years later he joined the local talent agency headed by Ms. Anastarcia Lamony, where she helped toned his musical talent. During the course his adolescent life he sang for the Queen, the government, the islands Christmas celebrations and much more. However, everything changed when he went to high school. Falling back in his grades he struggled to graduate and in the end, he just barely made it to the next level. “The only thing that kept me going was music”, he said. In his second year of High School at Sundial he entered St. Maarten Talent competition where he won the grand prize in the amateur singer division.
In 2000, Eddie and his mother moved to United States and joined The Faith Center Ministries, pastored by Bishop Henry Fernandez where his life changed for the better. At the age of 17 he joined TFC’s Adult choir and months later was asked to join their praise and worship team.
Eddie enjoys every moment of being on stage and simply praising God and this forced him to pursue a closer relationship with God. After attending the church’s survivor class, he realized that he had been missing out on a true personal relationship with Christ. “My purpose now is to not only enjoy what I do, but to help people along the way”.
