Sharon Wiles

Jamaican singer/songwriter Sharon Wiles was born in Mandeville, Manchester. She started singing at the early age of 4. When she was 12, Sharon gave her life to the Lord. Her family soon moved to Portmore, St. Catherine, where she later sang with the choir and praise team of the Faith Temple New Testament Church of God. She was also lead singer for the Children of Light Gospel Group and participated in Youth for Christ events for many years.

In 1985, Sharon began traveling internationally, ministering at concerts, churches, weddings, and banquets. She has shared the stage with such well-known artists as Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, Vickie Winans, Martha Munizzi, Helen Baylor, Byron Cage, Beverly Crawford, Canton Jones, Karen Clark Sheard, and Chevelle Franklin.

In 2010, she was presented “Female Artist of the Year” award by the Caribbean Music Awards. Sharon recently had the opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl with Israel Houghton and New Breed. She is a member of the choir and praise team at The Faith Center Ministries in Sunrise, Florida. Her motto is based on Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
